How often should an air conditioner be professionally cleaned?
For many homes, an annual professional clean is a sensible starting point. Homes with pets, allergy concerns, heavy use, visible mould or coastal and humid conditions may benefit from more frequent servicing.
Is cleaning the filter enough?
No. Cleaning the removable filter is useful maintenance, but it does not clean the evaporator coil, barrel fan, drain pan, drain line or other internal surfaces where moisture and grime collect.
Do I need to empty cupboards or move everything?
No major preparation is normally required. Please provide clear access to the unit and move delicate items immediately beneath it. Your technician prepares and protects the work area before cleaning.
Are the treatments suitable for families and pets?
Yes. Our treatment methods are selected for occupied family homes, including homes with children, pets and allergy concerns. Your technician will explain any short drying or re-entry instructions if they apply.
